The organization is active within the university and regional sports community. The 2025-26 board is comprised of Kyla Alexander, Ally Davis, Cade Edlein, Harrison Huntsinger, Mimi Mills, Mykal Poindexter, Audrey Stanley, and Abby Waters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students interested in being on the Student Board should send a resume and letter of interest to Ally Davis at <a href=\"mailto:partners@utk.edu\">partners@utk.edu<\/a> prior to April 1 for the upcoming academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student Members<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Partners in Sports typically has more than 150 student members each year. Students must join Partners in Sports each year as membership is on an annual basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Awards &amp; Scholarships<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each year Partners in Sports recognizes students with awards and scholarships who go above and beyond in sport management and display leadership qualities that will help them succeed both academically and professionally. The organization has awarded more than $300,000&nbsp;to students since its inception in 1998.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Partners Maxims<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Partners Student Board and Alumni developed seven guiding principles based on Gen. Robert R. Neyland\u2019s Game Maxims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work every day to put yourself in position to be successful.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look for opportunities, take advantage of the ones that come your way, and prove your value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Things may not go as planned. Learn from the experience and use it to improve yourself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Protect your personal brand and build personal relationships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteer, intern, and seek opportunities to be involved for this is how you gain experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete every task, no matter how small, to the best of your ability.
