The Sport Studies Doctoral Alumni Scholar Award was established in 2017 to recognize a doctoral graduate who has made significant contributions to the academic community. The recipient is recognized during the fall semester during a visit the campus. The visit include a public lecture in the recipient’s area of expertise, interaction with current doctoral students, and other class presentations.
